Warm & Snuggly Marshall

My sweet baby boy is finally warm and snuggly in his bed.  I was certain he would stay warm enough with a onesie, socks and fuzzy pj's, but NO he was FREEZING that first night!  When he got up to eat I thought about just sleeping with him in the recliner so I could keep him warm.  His poor hands were icecicles.  We put this oil heater next to his bed and tucked one of our lap blankets down under his crib.  I can now rest peacefully knowing he is warm and safe.  We don't have to turn the heater up much, it works really well.  In fact, when you close the door it almost gets HOT.  Chris said he wants to sleep in there with him.

The really nice thing about the heater is it doesn't get hot to touch so Raegan can touch it and it won't burn her.  I try to keep her out of there but it's just to new and she loves being in his stuff.

  1. I'm glad Marshall is toasty warm when he sleeps, very important!

Funny that you are posting about this. Before Marissa was born, before we knew all the "hardware" she would come home with, we made her room up. It happens to be the coldest room in the house. We also have a space heater that we thought we would need to put in the room with her. Little did we know that the humidification compressor she needs to use at night would be a heater all on it's own. That thing makes the room so hot! But the space heater will come in handy in that room once she gets her trach out! : )

Your kiddos are so cute, Tina!
