Halloween

Our church had a Fall Festival this evening.  It was very small as you will see but perfect for Raegan (and mom) at this phase.  She had lots of fun and came home with some candy.  I wasn't sure she was going to take the dress off this evening.  I'm sure it will be our new favorite "dancy dress!"

Cinderella.  It was difficult to keep her still, she wanted to dance.

Little Bumble Bee.  The costume "just fit."

Cinderella and Her Prince.  When I told her she was going to be Cinderella, she asked who her Prince would be.  How cute is that!

Daddy had a bit of a challenge in exiting the maze.

This was the "go duck fishing" booth.  She tried twice to scoop up the duck with the net then she just reached down with her hand and put a duck in the net.  She fishes like her mother.

This was Raegan's favorite.  They had two "cars" for the kids to race each other.  As you can see Raegan was very determined to win.  She rode the horse several times (and took a piece of candy each time too!).

Daddy & Raegan got to decorate their own cookies.

Marshall was such a trooper tonight, not even a peep.  He was so tired but wouldn't go to sleep.  He crashed hard when we got home.

Cardboard Box Fun

We bought a new carseat for Marshall this past week.  He is just too big for the carrier.  Besides, he's HEAVY!!!  Chris cut out some holes in the box and Raegan has played in it ALL WEEK!  I'd finally had enough this weekend...the box was destroyed.  We have a small living room and this box was VERY overwhelming but she had fun and that's what matters...right?  I remember growing up and having the best time in cardboard boxes.

Pumpkin Patch 10-27-09

We just about missed our opportunity to get a pumpkin this year because of the weather.  It's been raining a lot lately but we finally got to go to the pumpkin patch on Tuesday.  The place closes at 5:00 and we drive up at 4:30 (Branscum style).  We had to look at all the animals first then we made our way to the patch to find the perfect pumpkin.  The Rutledge Farm in Springfield always has the place decorated so nicely for EVERY holiday.  Just love this place.  It was kind of nice to have the whole place to ourselves, literally.  Only a couple of workers left but everyone else had left.  In fact, the last worker was waiting at the gate for us to leave..oops!

Hayride and Bonfire 10-16-2009

Our church had a Hayride and Bonfire at one of the member's ranch. It's was a chilly night but a fun one. We sang songs and roasted marshmellows and hot dogs. Raegan kept saying the fire was too hot. I was surprised that she ate the hot dogs, she usually eats them heated up in the microwave. They had a HUGE dog out there that she was mesmerized by. She easily could have rode the dog like a horse, seriously! Big white fluffy "sheep dog."
Geese and Ducks at Nixa High School
These geese and ducks are at the high school here in town.  We went to watch Jasmine Berry play volleyball one Saturday and they charged us as soon as we drove up.  They were so incredibily loud!  I was glad they stayed behind the fence.  Raegan got close but they were trying to crawl under and poking their beaks thru the holes.  She got a bit nervous.  We came back out later and they had crossed over the fence and were right there.  They just wanted to eat.  We had a bag of Cheetos - big hit!  She stood right there and fed them.

Chubby Cheeks!

Raegan just loves her new bike from Papa and Nana. She honks the horn every chance she gets. We bought her a Disney Princess Helment and knee pads but the knee pad were not a hit. We'll keep trying.

Our happy baby boy! Marshall is developing a really fun personality.
He is so happy and loves life.  You can't help but laugh and smile with him.
